My name is Corrinne Wallace and one of my passions is quilting. As a little girl, I used to sit and watch my grandmother knit and crochet, as we watched tv. As I grew older, I wondered why she never quilted, and she said she never learned. As a birthday present to myself one year, I decided to take a course through the community college, to learn to quilt. Out of everyone in the class, I was the only one to finish my project, and pass. I gave that quilt to my grandmother as a gift, and it was the first time I ever saw her tear up, and cry for joy. It made me so happy. I have been quilting ever since. I love the joy that it brings to people, and I love knowing it keeps them warm and snuggled up.
